The Misadventures of Rooter and Snuffle is a sweet book about two mischievous raccoons. These two characters don't mean to get into trouble, yet trouble seems to find them. Each short chapter gives the reader a chuckle as Rooter and Snuffle learn some important life lessons.
Kevin Collier, illustrator, has captured the raccoon's personalities well. Their comical expressions make this story a delight to read. Rooter and Snuffle are two characters children won't forget easily!

Review for The
Misadventures of Rooter and Snuffle the April issue of Stories for
Children
In the story, The
Misadventures of Rooter and Snuffle, two raccoon brothers find
themselves in tuff and sometimes dangerous situations. Young readers will
be drawn into not one, but three different adventures where Rooter and
Snuffle must count on each other and themselves to find away out of their
sometimes sticking mess. The first short story, The Search, teaches
children to think of others and not just themselves, the second story, Rooter’s Rule, helps young readers understand that we should treat
others how we would like to be treated, and the final story, Danger at
River Bend, shows readers that sometimes mothers know what is best for
us even if we don’t at the time.
I would love to see more books based on these two characters. They are
fun, lively, and enjoyable for all ages. I think most kids can see a
little of themselves in each one.

These fun, heart-warming stories will be enjoyed by children and adults
alike. This is a great book for early readers to read by themselves, or
for parents to read to youngsters at bedtime. The illustrations are
attractive and colorful and well represent the characters and settings in
the story. My only complain is that I would have liked to see more of
Scott Collier’s illustrations! This ebook is available in flip format,
which gives the feeling of a real book as the pages are flipped over with
only a touch from your keyboard or the click of a mouse. A fun,
delightful way to introduce your young ones to the computer while
stimulating their imaginations and improving their reading skills.
