March 2, 2009 Rhonda Fischer was invited to read Randy Kazandy at the Springbrook Elementary School in Irvine, CA on March 2, 2009 for Read Across America Day arranged by Sharon McCubbin. They sang the Randy Kazandy Time song for the two assemblies in front of the whole school.

April 2, 2009  Randy Kazandy, Where Are Your Glasses? aired on St Bonaventure TV News station in Allegany, NY. The station interviewed author Rhonda Fischer on April 2nd with reporter Vanessa Diaz after reading about Randy Kazandy in The Times Herald in Olean on March 31, 2009. April 20, 2009 Coverage by the OC Register in California will take place the week of the 20th.

April 17 2009 - Author Rhonda Fischer read Randy Kazandy, Where Are Your Glasses? for the National Library week on April 17, 2009 at the Huntington Beach Public Library, 7111 Talbert Avenue in Huntington Beach, CA. She read two story times in the Tabby Theater for preschoolers ages 3 through 5. Reading and singing the Randy Kazandy Time song was the highlight.

April 29, 2009 The Canandaigua NY Primary School has picked Randy Kazandy, Where Are Your Glasses? for their school-wide book read this spring hands down. They had been searching out books and no book seemed quite right until they found out about Randy Kazandy. Assistant Principal Vicki Prusinowski  took action to get all teachers K-2 to get their own autographed copies of the book. They will keep one book in each classroom. This is the hometown of Rhonda Fischer and she went to this same Primary School when she was a little girl, and her nephew Luke Sager, who was used as the model for the art of Randy Kazandy also goes to school there now and is excited about Rhonda’s special reading on April 29, 2009. They will all learn the Randy Kazandy Time Theme Song straight from Rhonda.

Author Rhonda Fischer will be the featured author for a story time reading and signing of her new book Randy Kazandy, Where Are Your Glasses? It will take place every Saturday at 2:00 in the Borders Book Store in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA starting May 9, 2009 and in Costa Mesa, CA on Sundays.

May 20, 2009 Librarian and grandparent readers from three libraries meet quarterly in Huntington Beach. Rhonda was asked to have her book Randy Kazandy, Where Are Your Glasses? reviewed by the committee. Rhonda will bring funny eyeglasses for all to wear and she will teach grandparents how to read to children in a funny manner.  This will be on May 20th at 3:00 pm.

January 2010  Next January, Rhonda  will read Randy Kazandy, Where Are Your Glasses? at  the Huntington Beach Public Library’s “Authors Day.”

To date Rhonda has done book signings and readings at Borders, Rancho Santa Margarita, Toy Town in Ladera Ranch, Bears, Buddies, and Toys, in Rancho Santa Margarita and several Irvine schools and was the live author at Robinson Ranch Elementary School book festival in Trabuco Canyon. In addition, her story was read by Lisa Cohen at Three Little Monkeys in Orange, CA.
