In 2006, Guardian Angel Publishing launched Angel to Angel an imprint where kids (12 and under) write and illustrate for kids! One of our resources will be Young Authors Contests sponsored in elementary schools to select winners for publication.

Angel to Angel will e-publish works of fiction/ picture books/ story books for kids as authors! In order to encourage literary arts and to instill love of reading and writing in children, Guardian Angel Publishing will sponsor Young Author Writing Contests in elementary schools across the country, where the winners will have their books e-published for one year.

The writing contest is open to children aged 12 and under. The guidelines are: 500 word maximum and at least one illustration by author. Teachers, aids, and/or faculty members will administer and judge the contest for their school. Selecting the final winners will be the school's responsibility. No more than one 1st place winner will be selected from any school in a single school year.

Guardian Angel Publishing will e-publish the books of the winning Young Authors. The winners will receive a certificate and have their books available for downloads online for one year. The winning books will be available free as e-book downloads from the Internet at GuardianAngelPublishing.com. 5 free CD copies of the e-book will be given to each winning Young Author and one CD copy will be given to the school library. The school must apply to Guardian Angel Publishing before beginning the contest. Only 25 slots are available each year. "First come- first serve basis." School entry dates for the Young Authors Contest are open September 1-30 of each school year. (When 25 school applications are accepted and notified, the school entries will be closed for the school year.) The contests may be run anytime during a school year and every effort will be made to e-publish the book prior to school dismissal for the year. Please send a school request via email to:
